Stop Seeking Validation & Just Be You

The issue is that we have been conditioned to always think about what others think about what we’re doing, how we look, how we talk, what type of job we have, why you put that seasoning on your chicken, etc. It’s just been an ongoing mess to get the world, our parents, and our friends to validate us. This has totally put us in a season of stagnation because we’re waiting for validation. There’s no sense in trying to convince yourself that you haven’t been seeking validation in some form or another because that would be a lie and wasted energy on something that just isn’t beneficial in this moment.

It’s time to be honest with yourself and then get to a place where you are not looking for approval from anyone. You’re out here just doing you boo and who ever doesn’t like it…well you know where you can send them. That’s right! Let’s go ahead and refer them over to the K.M.A. (kiss my ahz) department.
We, as women tend to ignore that beautiful antenna God created within us and that’s our intuition. Here’s the thing, if God or the Universe (whoever it is that you believe in) illuminated it in your spirit as a dream packaged with the gifts and talents to make it a reality what more validation do you need? I’m just simply asking for a friend because we be out here tripping looking for others to give the okay before we truly move to what’s best in life. Most God dreams are scary so, yes you’re all over the city asking anyone that will listen to you about what they think.
