Let's talk about your essence...like who really have the keys...bae-bae!

God (whoever it is that you believe in) gives us our own uniqueness. I like to call it essence but to make it simple it’s your spirit. That’s the energy and awesome sauce that no one can duplicate because you’re the owner of that essence.

No one on planet Earth can duplicate the “essence” that is you. When most people or things are imitation, please believe me when I tell you this, girl you can spot them a mile a damn way because it’s missing that secret sauce. I truly feel at times we forget this and that leads us down a road of wanting to prove ourselves to others.

One thing that I have learned is that there’s no one to prove anything to but God and myself. If someone is trying to imitate my essence I know that they will be exposed. Real Talk...with me being a Makeup Artist and Esthetician in the beauty industry I follow many awesome makeup artist and enthusiast. I can tell Mali Magic artistry from Renny Vasquez, Danessa Myricks, and Sir John. You want to know why? It's simple their essence is all over what they do and who they are. What’s in the spirit cannot be duplicated so stop worrying about if someone is copying what you’re doing. They’re not you boo so if it’s not spirit led it won’t last. It may bring them a few short-lived coins but that’s about it. Keep doing you and everything else will fall into place.

Your essence is the engine that drives your soul.

Have you ever been counted out and they thought they could keep a good one like you down, just for them to turn around and notice that you keep getting back up, flawlessly. That’s your essence, not one person has that special thing that you have and that’s why you have to protect your essence by blocking access to you. Not everyone should have access to experience you. It’s time you start considering yourself as VIP and there’s certain criteria that people must have in order to experience the essence of you.
